Our Family Workshops build upon the work that the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewage District and other agencies are doing to create safer and healthier neighborhoods for everyone. These completely free and bilingual educational opportunities, which take place June-August, are for the whole family! We offer sessions at Pulaski Park and Jackson Park, covering environmental health issues like native plants and green infrastructure, water quality and our health, plastic-free rivers, and more. We’ve even partnered with Milwaukee Riverkeeper to offer free boat tours of the Inner Harbor and Kinnickinnic River! We believe that learning about our land, air, and water is key to empowering us to live healthier lives with a greater understanding of the issues that most impact our wellbeing.

In addition to the educational activities in our workshops, we always offer an art activity for children. What better way to get outside with your little ones! When families spend time together outside, they feel closer, experience a greater sense of unity, and are better able to get along with one another. Please join us!
