Healthy Choices Program

Through family education and community advocacy, Healthy Choices strives to improve the home and neighborhood environment for adults and children in Milwaukee’s Southside, so they can enjoy a healthier life.

  • CURRENTLY FULL: Youth Health Educator – Nutrition + Physical Activity
    • Option A – Thursday evenings, 5 – 8 pm, starting September 19th
    • Option B – Wednesday evenings, 5 – 8 pm, starting September 18th
  • CURRENTLY FULL: Asst Youth Health Educator – Nutrition + Physical Activity

  • CURRENTLY FULL: Photographer + Food Prep – take photos of sessions and prepare healthy snack

  • Farm to School Volunteer – help to educate and facilitate lessons in a classroom setting
  • Farm to School AmeriCorps: part-time (20h/wk) Nutrition Educator, Living Stipend, Education Award, bilingual not required
WIC Program-Women, Infants and Children Nutrition

WIC provides nutrition education, breastfeeding education and support, supplemental nutritious foods, and referrals to other health and nutrition services.
