We are here to empower individuals with HIV to not only survive, but thrive. We are committed to helping individuals live their best life — through prevention services, support groups, and care for those living with HIV.
The HIV Department at Sixteenth Street is committed to the delivery of high-quality, culturally-sensitive care in Milwaukee and the surrounding areas based on the National Model: Prevent-Test Link-Treat and retaining our patients in care to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS and prevent new infections.

There, the following are offered:
- Syringe exchange
- Free confidential testing (STD and rapid HIV testing)
- Condoms and safe sex kits
- PrEP services
- Rapid testing for Hepatitis C
- Naloxone distribution and overdose prevention training
- Fentanyl test strips distribution and training on how to use them
