Elizabeth Claudio,

Vice President of Operations

Elizabeth Claudio, RN, serves as the Vice President of Operations for the Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers, overseeing the functions of Clinical Support, Quality Improvement, Pharmacy Services, Infection Control, Patient Experience, Facilities Management and Purchasing. Liz is responsible for setting strategic goals, managing everyday operations, supervising and motivating staff, creating efficiencies and implementing organization policies.

Over her 24 year tenure at Sixteenth Street, Elizabeth’s most rewarding achievements include; The development an in-house training program for Medical Assistants, a model now used by other area health systems; Leading clinic growth and expansion efforts towards increased patient access; The mentoring of young leaders into professional growth; HRSA recognized Gold level Clinical QI outcomes; and achieving and maintaining Joint Commission and Medical Home accreditation. She also works with several city-wide committees focused on access to and coordination of care for Milwaukee residents.

In her prior professional life, she worked as a Critical Care nurse in Chicago’s inner-city. Liz enjoys reading and car trips with her husband of over 40 years. She is devoted to her faith, family and friends and derives her greatest joy from spending time with her grandchildren.
