After completing undergraduate studies at Creighton University, Christopher Culhane spent a year as a volunteer with Rostro de Cristo in Guayaquil, Ecuador where he learned Spanish. He then returned to Wisconsin to complete medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He completed residency training in Family Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota. He spent his first four years out of training working as a rural Family Physician with the White Mountain Apache Tribe in Whiteriver, Arizona. He is very excited to return to his home state of Wisconsin and join the Sixteenth Street family. He strives to make his approach to patient care one of accompaniment and collaboration. His greatest joy in medicine comes from the relationship he gets to build with patients and their families. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, along with running and being outdoors.
