Ann Ledbetter is a certified nurse-midwife (CNM) with 15 years of experience caring for women during pregnancy, childbirth and throughout the life cycle. She received a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Notre Dame in 2003, and a master’s degree in nursing from Marquette University in 2007. She is a volunteer member of the Wisconsin Maternal Mortality Review Team.
Ann believes strongly in the midwifery model of care, which means respect for the innate abilities of birthing people, support and guidance during the childbearing journey, and vigilance for complications that may arise. Her favorite things about her job are getting to know patients from diverse backgrounds, attending vaginal births after cesarean (VBAC), and supporting breastfeeding moms and babies.
When she’s not at work, Ann loves to spend time writing, reading, hiking, and hanging out with her husband and three kids.
