Aja is a Certified Nurse Midwife who is a southeastern Wisconsin native. She knew from a young age that she wanted to pursue a healthcare career and soon discovered she wanted to care for childbearing persons of all ages. She received an associate degree of Nursing from Gateway Technical College in 2004. She worked in various high-risk Labor & Delivery units before returning to academia. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2015. She graduated from Frontier Nursing University with her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery and was Board Certified as a Nurse Midwife in 2019.

Aja provides the full scope of midwifery care. This includes gynecology, contraception, family planning, pregnancy, labor and birth, postpartum, and perinatal mental health support. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, listening to live music, traveling, and volunteering for local LGBTQIA+ organizations.
