Jennifer Zarwell earned her undergraduate degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee while balancing the responsibilities of raising two children and working in the interior plant rental, design, and consultation industry. Motivated by a deep interest in human connection and emotional wellness, she pursued her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Mount Mary University. Jennifer’s career has spanned a range of settings, including working as a homeless outreach social worker in the city of Milwaukee, serving as a substance use counselor for adults in residential and partial hospitalization programs, and providing therapeutic support to adolescents in outpatient treatment. As a compassionate and nonjudgmental facilitator, she helps clients explore solutions, build emotional resilience, and develop authentic self-acceptance. She creates a warm, inclusive space that fosters healing, growth, and meaningful change. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys staying active through yoga, spin classes, and swimming. She is excited to return to a community-based setting at Sixteenth Street and to provide behavioral health consultant services within the primary care setting, where she looks forward to supporting the wellbeing of individuals and families with care and dedication.
