Tanya Stamps, CPA, MBA is Chief Financial Officer at Sixteenth Street Community Health Centers overseeing the finance department and revenue cycle departments. Born in Milwaukee, Tanya obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees with a major in accounting at Concordia University in Mequon, WI. She further went on to get her Certified Public Accountant license with the State of Wisconsin Professional Licensing Board. She has built her career working with non-profit organizations starting her accounting career auditing Milwaukee and Racine school choice schools and other non-profit organizations. From there she worked in non-profit health systems with a specific emphasis on federally qualified health care centers and stood up for justice by working at a federally funded legal aid firm. She has volunteered her time to many non-profit organizations by holding officer positions on their board of directors, currently sitting as Treasurer of the Clarke Square Neighborhood Initiative and a finance committee member of the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association. Tanya is passionate about the Milwaukee community and hopes that her work in finance at Sixteenth Street CHC will improve the quality of health care for the patients that we serve.
