Dulce Villafuerte graduated from Mount Mary University with a Master of Science in Counseling and a concentration in clinical mental health.

She has been working in the mental health field since 2021. While she primarily works with children and adolescents, she has experience working with all ages.

She takes on a collaborative and integrative approach to patient care. She draws from multiple theoretical frameworks and techniques to meet her client’s needs as she knows the same mental health difficulty can look different for everyone. It’s her goal to have clients become their own therapist by acquiring the skills and awareness they need to overcome their current difficulties.

During her free time, she enjoys going on long walks, attending dance classes, meeting new people, trying new foods, and being a tourist in her own hometown.
