Cecilia Blancas is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a masters in social work. Most recently, she has started the certification process for the EMDR therapy model. With twelve years of social work experience, Cecilia has worked in the community doing home visits, in schools teaching evidence-based curriculum on comprehensive sex education, and in the psychiatric hospital in various levels of care. Her approach is casual with an emphasis on holding space for clients in a warm and empathetic environment. She believes in self-determination and moving from a place of congruency with one’s values. In her free time, Cecilia enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, and being with family.
