Marni Hebert earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Alverno College in 1998. She earned her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2001 and then her Post Master’s Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Alverno College in 2022. She is a Board Certified Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (2001) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (2023).
She boasts a total of 23 years as a family nurse practitioner in primary care. She’s spent the last seven years with pediatric patients in the school-based medical centers, where her recent role includes providing both medical and behavioral health services.
She believes in having a collaborative relationship with her patients and their families. She feels that it’s important to address both the physical and mental symptoms of every patient that she sees. She enjoys educating her patients on wellness and the prevention of illness along with the importance of a healthy diet and exercise.
She and her husband have a blended family of three girls (ages 13, 18, and 20), two dogs, and two cats. When not working, she enjoys sports, being in nature, Zumba, biking, walking, traveling, and reading. During weekends in the spring and summer, you can catch her at a park watching her 13 year-old daughter play softball.
