Emily Gebhardt earned her Bachelors of Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She then earned her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Carroll University.

She boasts ten years of experience practicing as a PA in family medicine and has been at Sixteenth Street for five years. She studied abroad in Sevilla, Spain to become more proficient in her Spanish.

Her favorite part of patient care is providing education. She believes that patients should really understand their diagnosis, treatment plan, and more. When patients understand their medical history, they can better advocate for themselves, ask questions, and achieve their treatment goals. She strives to treat her patients as she would want her family members to be treated by their medical providers. Her patients should know that she’s listening to their concerns and working with them to find a solution.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, eating foods from different cultures, and spending time with her family and friends. She likes to stay active by dancing, walking her dog, and chasing her 1 year-old.
