Maria Casey earned her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Marquette University. She also earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice from there as well. She’s a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with specialization in pediatric primary care (CPNP-PC).

She boasts four years of experience as a pediatric nurse working with children with medical complexity and chronic health conditions prior to working as a nurse practitioner. She also has experience as a charge nurse in a medical daycare setting working to coordinate and integrate care from several pediatric subspecialists.

She is passionate about preventative care and health education. She wants families to leave a visit feeling confident that they’re informed about their child’s health and comfortable that their child is well taken care of. She values relationships with her patients and their families. She finds a lot of joy in connecting with those families and seeing a child grow and develop.

Outside of the clinic, she loves to spend time with her husband and son, as well as their extended family. They love to bike, spend time on Milwaukee’s lakefront, check out new restaurants around the city, or try new recipes at home.
