Kimberly Chobanian Balash received her BSN from Alverno College in 2017 and then continued her education at Marquette University. She received her MSN in Midwifery in 2020.

She’s been practicing as a nurse midwife since 2021 and has been a nurse since 2017. She boasts a passion for education and has taught for multiple universities. She loves educating patients on the birth process and postpartum period as well as educating individuals about their health options.

Her philosophy as a midwife is simple. She believes all people deserve care that’s holistic, respectful, and individualized with no exclusions. She wants her patients to be able to make informed decisions and be interactive in their care. Education is important and she encourages her patients to ask questions throughout their care. The space between the patient and her will always be safe, with maintained dignity and respect.

Outside of work, you’ll catch her spending time with family. She loves to cook and eat delicious food, practice yoga, and spend as much time as she can outside.
