Dr. Jay Pludeman attended the Medical College of Wisconsin and graduated in 2007. From there, he trained in the specialty of Family Medicine for three more years at the Waukesha Family Medicine Residency Program. Prior to his medical training, he majored in Spanish in college. He was fortunate to be able to study and train in Puerto Rico, Ecuador, and Spain.

He started at Sixteenth Street in 2010 and has been building relationships with his patients ever since. His practice consists of patients of all ages, from the healthy to the medically complex. He also specializes in vasectomy surgery.

Putting his Spanish skills to use and improving access to care for people of all backgrounds is what makes this job worthwhile for him.

When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his lovely family or out in his kayak fishing and trying to get some exercise.
