Carla Villarreal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish and Health Science, along with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy. She currently is a Physical Therapy Assistant and has experience in inpatient, SNF, outpatient, and sports PT clinics.

She approaches Physical Therapy in a holistic view, taking in account the physical as well as emotional wellbeing. She spends time listening to the patient’s stories and partnering with them to accomplish their individualized goals and views it as an important piece in the healing process. Each session, she spends time educating her patients on their diagnosis and treatment so they have a greater understanding of what’s going on. She explains the “why” behind each treatment as well as making treatment and exercises enjoyable for the patient. She feels that the one-on-one model the outpatient clinic has with patients allows relationships to be created and help patients return to their prior level of functioning.

In her free time, she enjoys paddle boarding, crafting, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
